Objections and corrections
Who can object
Creators and outlets within measurement scope. The byline holder of the measured item, the outlet that published it, or someone authorised by either. Third parties cannot object on someone else's behalf. The reason is below: without identity verification, the right of reply could be exercised by someone else.
What can be objected to
Wrong byline: the item is not yours, or the byline was matched incorrectly. Wrong match: the item was linked to another person or outlet. Wrong format classification: the item was counted as a column but is an interview, or the reverse. Right of reply: you can write a text to be published next to your score.
What cannot be objected to
The score cannot be objected to; the input can. "My score is low, raise it" is rejected. "This item is not mine" is reviewed. The reason: the score is the shared judgement of readers and that judgement belongs to the crowd. An objection ensures the judgement was passed on the right thing; it does not change the judgement itself. An objection does not freeze the score. The score stays visible while the review runs.

Why identity verification is required
If anyone saying "this profile is mine" could object, someone could exercise the right of reply on another person's behalf. This step exists to protect the measured person. Verification is done manually today: a corporate email address on the outlet's domain, the contact details in the outlet's masthead, or the person's own public channel. These three are the same ladder used for creator notification (SPEC 2.2). The same evidence works in both directions.
